Dale completed his undergraduate training at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in 2009. He did his internship at RK Khan Hospital in Durban followed by Community Service at Port Shepstone Hospital in the field of Emergency Medicine. During his experience in emergency medicine, his interest in the field of radiology was piqued. He travelled back to RK Khan Hospital in Durban to explore the field of radiology and gain experience for 2 years as a Medical Officer.

Dale traded the warm, Durban Indian Ocean and hot bunny chow’s for the icy Atlantic waters and masala steak gatsby’s of the Cape.
Here he obtained his fellowship in radiology at Stellenbosch University. During his training at Tygerberg Hospital, he developed a passion for Interventional Radiology. In addition to this, he found teaching basic interventional skills to his junior colleagues very rewarding.

Dale is a sports fanatic and closely follows English Football. He played chess competitively in the past and still enjoys a challenging game now and again. Dale plays action cricket and soccer when he can and is an aspiring amateur golfer. He also enjoys walking his long-haired dachshund, Charlie, with his fiancé on Saturday mornings and grabbing a cup of great coffee along the way.
