Dr Naidoo pursued programming and IT while in school (even winning various awards for his work), however finally decided to pursue medicine as a calling to help the community and make a difference.
During his training and Community Service, Yeshkhir enjoyed working in surgery and spent time focusing on cardio-thoracics at Kimberley Hospital, Northern Cape.
After completing his primaries in Internal Medicine, Dr Naidoo started Registrar training as part of the first group of registrars at UKZN. He was also the first registrar in the program to complete the Fellowship of Radiology examination and Masters in Neuro-imaging.
He performed an elective Interventional Radiology month at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in 2022.
Dr Naidoo considers Interventional Radiology, the culmination of his passions to use technology, surgical skills, and health to bring about change in his communities.
When Yeshkir is not at work, he enjoys spending time outdoors either hiking, cycling or running. He is also an avid traveler and is always keen to take on an adventure.
