“Understanding your own strengths and limitations, and matching them with those of the people around you, helps you to harness the resultant energy to make things happen”
After finishing his B.Sc. Engineering degree at UCT, Mick focused his career on projects in industrial plants, water and sewage treatment, and internet services. Mick has invaluable experience in implementing RIS & PACS systems, both in Europe and South Africa. He was part of the team that implemented 35 PACS systems across southern England as part of the NHS’ Connecting for Health programme in 2005. Mick and his team have also been instrumental in the roll-out of the new Morton & Partner imaging and reporting platforms. Before joining Morton & Partners in late 2014, Mick moved between countries and continents 5 times, before returning to Cape Town in 2008. He firmly believes that understanding your own strengths and limitations, and matching them with those of the people around you, helps you to harness the resultant energy to make things happen. Mick and his wife find pride in watching their children grow and become adults. He finds peace of mind when going for breakaways in the mountains, and enjoys playing bass in the church band as well as all manner of sport.
