About:
In 2003, Ruan completed his undergraduate medical studies at the University of the Free State and went on to do his internship and community service in Pietermaritzburg. He is a University of KwaZulu Natal graduate, having completed his specialist training in 2010.
After spending a year in Canada attaining a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at McMaster University in Ontario (2011-2012), he returned to Cape Town to further his career at Morton and Partners. Ruan enjoys spending time with his family and friends and has a keen interest in many outdoor adventure activities, but spends most of his time dabbling in a variety of water sports.
