Dr Chrisjan Labuschagne

About: After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch in 2014, Chrisjan pursued his medical internship in Nelspruit. Following this, he embarked on a year-long adventure in Kwazulu-Natal as a community service medical officer, gaining experience in Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia, and Paediatrics.

Subsequently, he seized the opportunity to further his expertise by obtaining a post-graduate diploma in HIV management.

A new chapter unfolded when Chrisjan embraced a role as a medical officer in Radiology in Pietermaritzburg, where his passion for medical imaging blossomed. This passion led him to specialize in Radiology at WITS University, culminating in his qualification as a Radiologist in 2023. He joined Morton and Partners in April 2024.

Looking ahead, Chrisjan is eager to pursue a fellowship in Breast Imaging and Intervention at Mount-Sinai Hospital with the University of Toronto in 2025.

Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, social tennis, and occasionally experimenting with cooking.
