Isak has a professional interest in Interventional Radiology & Body Imaging as well as paediatric imaging.
Dr. Vorster completed his MBChB from the University of Pretoria before heading to Steve Biko Academic Hospital and Tswane District Hospital to complete his Internship and Community Service respectively. Having many interests in science and tech development as well as being a keen traveler, Isak spent some time abroad after completing his radiology training.
He has been working in private practice since 2019, however, after COVID turned the world upside down, he returned to Groote Schuur Hospital as a consultant radiologist. Taking a keen interest in registrar training and research whilst being back. He returned to the Morton team in September of 2021.
Isak will be pursuing a Fellowship in Body Imaging & Interventional Radiology at St Paul’s Hospital, University of British Columbia in 2022 -2023
Isak has been bestowed the great honour of being the godfather to his fellow M&P radiologist, Dr. Richards-Edwards’ son William. In his spare time, Isak enjoys spending time with his fiancé Pauli and their 2 adorable pugs. They are a family of keen hikers, who enjoy wining, dining, and having as many adventures as possible.
