Melissa completed her internship at Pietermaritzburg Hospital Complex and her community service at Khayelitsha District Hospital, where she worked in general surgery. Between her community service and medical officer roles, she served as a Family Medicine Facilitator at the University of Cape Town for five months.
She spent 23 months as a Medical Officer in Radiology at Edendale Hospital before starting her Diagnostic Radiology registrarship at Tygerberg Hospital under Stellenbosch University. Melissa further honed her skills by completing a one-year Fellowship in Body Imaging at the University of Calgary.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and hopes to learn Ikebana (Japanese art of flower arrangement). Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Morton & Partners team, with her dedication to imaging excellence and patient care making her a valuable asset to the practice.
