Professional interest:
Dr Robyn Wessels has a keen interest in cross-sectional imaging and Neuroradiology.
Robyn obtained her undergraduate degree from Stellenbosch University in 2010. After an enriching internship and community service in the Eastern Cape at Port Elizabeth Hospital and Uitenhage Provincial Hospital respectively, she continued to work as a medical officer in Cardiology at P.E Provincial Hospital for 3 years.
Her time in Cardiology and her exposure to cardiac imaging sparked her interest in Radiology. She subsequently successfully applied for a registrar post in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of the Witwatersrand where she completed both her FC Rad and Master of Medicine in 2021. After completing her specialisation, Robyn moved back to Cape Town to be closer to family and joined Morton and Partners as an associate in the second quarter of 2023.
She hopes to continue to grow in the practice and pursue a fellowship in the near future.
Robyn enjoys running, the occasional cooking class, and spending quality time with friends and family.
