After graduating with his MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 2011, Dr. Moodley spent his internship and community service years gaining valuable experience in various healthcare settings. This included a stint at Addington Hospital Durban in 2012-2013, followed by another at Wesfleur Hospital in Atlantis, Western Cape in 2014.

Dr. Moodley's initial foray into clinical medicine came in the form of emergency medicine at Addington Hospital in 2015. He then ventured into the field of trauma surgery at Tygerberg Hospital from 2016 to 2017. These experiences undoubtedly honed his critical thinking and decision-making skills, which are valuable assets in any medical field.

In 2018, Dr. Moodley's career trajectory took a decisive turn towards radiology. He began serving as a medical officer radiology at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Durban. This role exposed him to the intricacies of diagnostic imaging and likely sparked his interest in specialization.

Determined to further his expertise, Dr. Moodley enrolled in a Master of Medicine program specializing in Diagnostic Radiology at KwaZulu-Natal. He successfully completed this program in 2023. This period of dedicated study was followed by a registrar position at Grey's Hospital Pietermaritzburg, where he honed his radiology skills from 2020 to 2023.

Dr. Moodley's commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his fellowship with the College of Radiologists (South Africa) in Diagnostic Radiology, which he also achieved in 2023. Today, Dr. Moodley brings his comprehensive background and specialized knowledge to the field of radiology, with a focus on both general and neuro radiology.

When not dedicated to patient care, Dr. Moodley enjoys a well-balanced life.

He finds joy in traveling and exploring new places, cherishes spending quality time with loved ones, and loves to get lost in a good book.
